Parrot tulips are dramatic, and extremely flamboyant. These tulips have very large and brightly colour. This tulip has petals with feathered, curled, twisted and waved, while the blossoms exposed to the sun, the flower will open widely until it almost flatten out.

The colour of this tulips are wide, there are many bi-coloured and almost all of them are vibrant, the blossom are available in white, yellow, pink, red, purple, orange, peach.

This categories of tulips are developed from mutations of certain late spring flower and also from Triumph Tulips. As a result, some of the tulips are blooming during late spring and some of that during the mid spring.

These tulips are very sensitive to the cold and wet weather. It should be planted in protected location, because it could not withstand to the wind and rain.
