There are two (2) type of orchid growth at the orchid family, which is sympodial and monopodial. The miltonia orchid flower is belong the group of sympodial, which this is the new growth will arise from the rhizome of previous growth. In addition, each of the new growth is entirely capable of bearing an inflorescence.

Miltonia orchid also known as pansy orchid, which it is a garden plant with short stem and broad flat brightly coloured petal. This is a wonderful spring and summer blomming flower, it has a large flower which bigger than foliage.

If you plan to have this miltonia orchid to light up your garden, there are some tips you should take into consideration. This kind of orchid need repotted at least once for every second year, the recommended temperature is between 24-26.5 degree C when daytime and 15.5-18 degree C. it is recommended no direct  sunlight, whereas too little light will affect the blooming.
