Masdevallia orchids flower are not similar like other type of orchid, it is strikingly unique. It is commonly known as kite orchid, it is because of it has a triangular shape of blossom. There are having top centre and two (2) bottom of petals to form like a triangular shape, it also look like a tube.

There are also has ordinary appearance of foliage, it just like a common houseplant while it is not in blooming. The most attraction of this kind of orchid is the top two side of petal and lips are minuscule. This tiny lip will rock back and forth in the breeze.

If you plan to have this masdevallia orchid to light up your garden, there are some tips you should take into consideration. This kind of orchid needs not much lighting, it able to grow well under the artificial light. It enjoy on the cool temperature, it is suitable to have the temperature within 12-15 degree C on the day time, and 18-24 degree C during the night time.
