The Laelia orchid flower has colour of pink to purple for the wild orchid species, it has pink to purple lip that is white near the column. Sometimes, there are also has albino variants of orchid.

The type of this laelia orchid able to produce eight (8) inches or twenty (20) cm of foliage, which with waxy coating. This type of orchids are close relatives with the cattleya orchid.

If you plan to have this laelia orchid to light up your garden, there are some tips you should take into consideration. This flower is not difficult to plant if you done well on the preparation, it need watering frequently while it growing. However, the watering should be reducing during the winter season.
