The disa
orchid flower is native from the South Africa, this is an amazing orchid which
the hot climate is their home but it is cool growing orchid. It has blooming
period between late spring to early summer.
There are
over 130 species of disa orchid, which the species of Disa uniflora is most
commonly grown. This orchid produce the largest flower among the group of
orchid. This type of orchid have 15 to 20 inches height of stem, which it able
to produce three (3) to seven (7) blossom. The blossom could be grown up to
three (3) inches across among the lots of crosses.
